I enjoyed the 23 things course and I will miss it. I found the blog itself and twitter the most enjoyable and I'm going to continue to use them now they are set up. I still have trouble posting links to the blog and will have to practice that. It's my cut and pasting that I haven't got the hang of yet but practice will fix it!

None of it was useless and it was all useful. The obvious way to use it at the library is for departments or the library to set up their own blogs for people to access and post on, both staff and library clients.

The library could also set up podcasts on how to use the library or other information and the clients could set up RSS feeds to get podcasts from the library. The students are all so familiar with computers and do all these things anyway and the library could communicate with them on a whole different level using Web 2.0.
I found quite a few sites on the Web 2.0 awards site which I would be interested in following up - Mango, Upcoming, Zango, Doof, My Heritage. I will try to post a link to one of them.

Doof looks good because I'm interested in gaming though I don't have time so far to do any. My Heritage looks a bit American based, as did the three real estate sites. Upcoming, however, was about Sydney and would be useful for planning outings. Zango could be handy for downloading new games! Here goes with posting one of them to the blog.

I enjoyed using Google Books and Library Thing and will keep up with them in the future because I like reading even though I don't have enough time at present to do much of it. Google books would not let me on to the main site but I found enough on the first page to get the idea.
Great fun!

I checked out technorati but did not find it helpful and I could not find the 23 things blog by using technorati. Weird!
Sorry, maybe you need the whole url for my twitter account like you did for my blog account. Here it is: http://twitter.com/vfab62
I joined twitter easily and it looks like a lot of fun! I am called vfab62. I am following Alan Davies, a british comedian I like watching who is on QI on the ABC and plays Jonathan Creek.
He seems to be an avid twitterer!

I had a look at Wikipedia and read all about how it works. Then I checked out the information on Alan Davies, a British comedian, but I was not allowed to edit it. This is probably just as well as I don't have anything useful to contribute because I don't know anything more about him than is already on Wikepedia. I'm glad to know what a wiki is and will look for more of them.
